Social value doesn’t start and end with construction, it begins the moment we create new partnerships, initiate a scheme and bring together our teams and supply chain too. All our colleagues are passionate about delivering schemes that benefit our communities and we work closely with them to make that happen.
The social value outputs from our projects are captured and measured using our custom-built Social Value Bank tool. This will enable us to quantify and qualify the total social value created through the pre, during and post-construction stages of a project. It will also place a value to aspects including public-realm creation, the provision of community facilities, sustainable transport infrastructure, community events and the delivery of affordable housing.
Once the development is completed and the final stages of the Social Value Strategy have been implemented then each project will produce a detailed case study capturing all of the value generated by the scheme.
