On your bike for the Northern Power Ride

Muse development director, Leon Guyett, is taking on the challenge of cycling 200 miles from Newcastle to Manchester on behalf of The English Cities Fund, to promote diversity and inclusion in the property industry.

The English Cities Fund is a joint venture between Homes England, Legal & General and Muse Developments, which is delivering large scale regeneration schemes in Canning Town, Plymouth, Salford and Wakefield.

The inaugural Legal & General and JLL Northern Power Ride is challenging two-day event run by Club Peloton on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 September. Riders start off in Newcastle, cycle through County Durham to the Yorkshire Dales and then onto the finish line in Manchester. It gives participants the chance to push themselves, meet people and share new ideas.

Participants are also raising funds for two amazing charities: Coram, which has been helping vulnerable children since 1739, and housing charity, Crisis.

Richard Parks, the former Wales international rugby player turned Extreme Environment Athlete will be riding alongside the group, sharing his experiences of how to build a diverse team of people who can help you achieve something truly extraordinary.
