Muse crowned best developer in the North West
Leading developer and urban regeneration specialist, Muse Developments, has been voted ‘Developer of the Year’ at the prestigious Insider North West Property Awards.
Dubbed the ‘property Oscars’, the award ceremony saw more than a thousand of the industry's leading figures gathered at Manchester Central to celebrate the sector’s success stories from the past year.
The judges were impressed with Muse’s impact on the North West landscape in 2014, with 10 major projects across a range of sectors on site, totalling a construction value of £121 million.
The company’s key projects across the region include City Place, a new central business district in Chester, the multi-award winning Talbot Gateway scheme in Blackpool and new commercial district Stockport Exchange. It is also working with partners Legal and General and the Homes and Communities Agency to deliver the major New Bailey and Chapel Street regeneration schemes in Salford.
Matt Crompton, joint managing director at Muse, said: “We’re extremely proud to be crowned Developer of the Year and to have our commitment to the region recognised by the property community. We’re making significant progress on schemes across the North West that are really turning around the fortunes of key sites, transforming them into thriving new communities.
“All of our projects are delivered working closely with our various partners, who I’d like to thank for their crucial role in all of our achievements. We’ll continue to work together to deliver great places which contribute to the success of the region as a whole.”
North West Business Insider editor Chris Maguire, said: "There's a buzz in the North West property sector and that's borne out by the quantity and quality of entries we've had this year. The winners can be proud to be called the best of the best."
