Muse boosts Southern development team
Muse Developments has strengthened its Southern team with the appointment of James Stockdale as senior development manager.
James has more than 16 years’ experience in property and regeneration and joins Muse from St. Modwen Properties PLC where he oversaw the development and asset management of major urban regeneration schemes in London and the South East.
He will support Muse’s London office in the development of its projects across the South, including the ‘Your New Town Hall’ regeneration scheme in Brixton.
The company’s wider portfolio includes 40 developments across the UK, spanning residential, commercial, retail and leisure sectors. Muse’s current schemes in London include major regeneration projects Rathbone Market in Canning Town, where the third phase is under construction and Lewisham Gateway, which is transforming Lewisham town centre into a vibrant new community with a riverside park and improved access to public transport.
Muse’s schemes in the South West include Kimmerfields in Swindon, Millbay in Plymouth and Wapping Wharf in Bristol. In the South East Chatham Place in Reading is nearing completion and Basingstoke's revitalised commercial district Basing View is underway.
Michael Auger, Muse’s regional director for the South, said: “I’m delighted to welcome James to the team at such an active time for the company. He has significant experience in bringing forward mixed-used regeneration schemes, which will be invaluable in helping us to deliver our increasing portfolio.”
James commented: “It’s an exciting opportunity for me to join such a well-respected company and I am looking forward to being part of their continued success in delivering regeneration projects across London and the South.”
