Insider North West Property Awards shortlist success
Muse Developments and its joint venture The English Cities Fund have been shortlisted for four awards in this year’s Insider North West Property Awards.
Now in its 21st year, the annual celebration will be held at Manchester Central on Thursday 16 May. More than 1,000 people will attend the black-tie award ceremony.
Muse will be defending its Developer of the Year title, following a busy year of development across the region. Its transformative, mixed-use scheme delivered in partnership with Stockport Council, Stockport Exchange, has been shortlisted for Regeneration Project of the Year.
The English Cities Fund’s striking new 635-space multi-storey car park at New Bailey in Salford is a finalist in the Design Excellence category, with the wider Salford Central project also shortlisted for Regeneration Project of the Year. The Fund is a joint venture between Muse, Legal & General and Homes England.
This year's finalists were chosen after a lengthy and robust judging process. Insider also canvassed the views of the industry by holding a discussion session with a number of last year's winners and also spoke to several respected sector experts.
Phil Mayall, regional director for the North West at Muse, said: “Insider’s North West Property Awards are highly respected throughout the industry, so we are delighted to be shortlisted in four categories this year.
“We have achieved some major milestones on our schemes across the North West over the past 12 months, so it’s great to have that recognised by our peers. We look forward to finding out the winners at the event in May.”
