Work completed at the end of 2018 on a striking 100,000 sq ft, BREEAM ‘Excellent’ civic building in the heart of Colwyn Bay that now accommodates 780 Conwy County Borough Council workers and reduced its estate from 13 offices to one central hub.
The scheme we delivered boasted significant green credentials, reducing the council’s carbon footprint, while improving service delivery by bringing colleagues under one roof. It formed part of the council’s wider regeneration of the town, which has seen over £50m invested to modernise the historic promenade, coastal defences, along with a new beach and the redevelopment of the stadium and events centre at Parc Eirias.
We delivered the striking scheme in partnership with Conwy Council, which was funded by M&G Investments.
